I was on GW since 2003 but I forgot my sn and pass so i had to make another account in 2005, but they're a bunch of faggots so i discovered .org and you guys were even bigger faggots

cheers to being here almost 4 years

This thread is a few weeks old but I thought I'd drop my two cents in the water.

I joined the site back in December 2005. It was still called RMXP.net back then and it was run by the never-present Lord_Gradient.

I can't express how much I love seeing the fact that this forum is still on its feet, even after the hacks and the year Despain was in charge... how did that happen again? To this day HBGames is number two on my bookmarks at the top of my Google Chrome Window right between Facebook and Twitter. I've taken a few hiatus's from RMXP over the years which is one of the many reasons I think my project is still going, because had I been doing it continuously I'd either have given up by now or would have finished it. Had I finished it it would have been terrible, it probably still will be. But I'm trying my hardest to make it something worth all the time I've spent on it.

It's good to see a lot of people from .net are still here. Maybe I'm just getting sentimental but six out of seven years the site's existed is a damn long time for me to still be here.

They might not be here any more and they didn't leave under the best circumstances either but I'd really just like to shout-out a thanks to Erk and Ccoa who after Lord_Gradient had long since given up on .net, they pulled their shit together and made sure that .org was given a new life.

Great to see it standing six years after I joined.

and then abandoned the site in the exact same way which led to that OH SO HORRIBLE YEAR of tyranny from "despain" oh yeah THATS how that happened again.

Erk and Ccoa were great for the site but they both left under good circumstances. They just for some unknown reason changed their story a few months later.

Despian's .org was the most active period, but was a lot different to ccErk.org. And ended badly, yeah.

In all though we've always been the same site deep down. Members generally don't care about who's running the joint (those that do leave to form new sites which normally fail but w/e), they just care about the content and the members themselves which, as you say, have stayed the same through so many years, it's great.

We're still largely .netters with some new blood thrown in and that's fantastic

Past drama aside, it's great to see this place staying active and fellow RMers producing brilliantness. :) Keep kicking ass folks. (You too, mawk. *smooch*)

Speaking of which, who the heck is running this joint? Is it YOU, Wyatt?

I must say, guys, I don't have as much fun on any site as I do on HBGames.org. Even though I say I'll leave as soon as I'm done with Medina Stories, who the heck knows. :)

No you won't.

Dont leave Juan~

Yeah, tbh there really isnt anyone actually running it
the staff is extremely vocal and extremely open and we all work together trying to do staff things. There is a lot of communication between everyone~

I said I would leave when Ghost Shards is finished, but who knows. I mean, I want to stick around as long as possible actually. ^^

Maybe get some advice of other things than games. Like art. Or writing. Or stuff. *shifty eyes*

Man you just have to spend five minutes in threads like the Dev/Sauk eulogy thread to appreciate the really strong ties everyone has here. Maybe it's the tiredness talking but I love you all in the most awkward way possible come here

like, you guys are the only people on the internet I would even care to see go anywhere. reminiscing engaged.

Yes, the real world suck. Just yesterday I had to leave a class early because an entire auditorium started mocking me. And it's four days until my birthday. Real world people pull crap like that all the time.

In here, it's different. It's not the real world.

Technically speaking, it is. It's a forum where you're making indirect contact with people, but they are real people. It's just that we're not dicks to each other because we're not expected to because of the dick people we're around.
