What are you wearing and what are you doing?  I need to think of a costume.  Something offensive with a slight possibility that I get to practice my street fighting skills if I bump into the wrong person in a bar.  Is it too soon for zombie Bernie Mac? How about Heath Ledger?  Any ideas?

I'm going to be playing Mother 3 because hopefully it'll be in English by then probably doing the same thing my school did last year-collect canned goods and donate it to charity. They call it Halloween for Hunger. (although I'd rather hide in the bushes as an evil clown and give three year olds brain damage)

I've never gone trick or treating or dressed up. The most I've ever celebrated Halloween was carving a pumpkin. Last year I didn't even carve it; it just sat in the kitchen until christmas. Pumpkins last a long time when you don't cut them open.

I'll probably do the same this year.

Dangerous territory you're wanderin' into here. Last year I was taking my nephew and niece trick-or-treating (ages 4 and 3, respectively.) and some wiseguy decided to try and do this. Before I even knew what was happening I had kicked the guy in the nads as hard as I could and he was keeled over, apologizing profusely.

depends what everyone else is doing. I don't wanna be the only dude dressing up.

if everything turns out, I'm gonna invest in a black fedora and a suit jacket and go as Elwood Blues in that I'm taller than Beluski, but Joliet Jake in that I always found Elwood pretty uninteresting and I like being the frontman and not a stinkin' harmonicer.

I might be out of town for halloween this year though so I guess it might be a moot point anyway!

I was initially thinking of dressing up as the red chimera and chasing people around my street, but I realized that I wouldn't be able to go with anyone then because I'd have to explain and sound like a nerd.

Dressing up? going door to door? I prefer the new, conventional approach to trick-or-treating. That is, with a ski mask and a bottle of chloroform.

Nah, I'm going to go wearing a white tuxedo with red lipstick and black face paint. I figure that that should be offensive enough for one night.

You also need to say "you betcha" and "shout-out" and constantly wink at people.

As for me, I'm just hoping to get my over-the-top-too-ambitious-and-expensive-for-my-budget costume done in time. If so, I'll be a dragon-human hybrid with a tail, armored claws and feet, and horns. I won't be doing anything but giving out candy to the chil'ns and taking photos of myself, but whatever.
