OK, I know that there are some .Hack fans on this site. First off, I have been in Iraq for the last year and I am getting ready to come home. I recently found .Hack//GU Vol#2 for PS2. I bought it and played the S*** out of it. Could someone tell me if the third game is out yet? It's just killing me that I can't continue yet. Heck, I havn't even played the first one, so I was lost at first, but, it didn't take me long to get caught up on what happened. I would also like to know what everyone thinks about .Hack.

I don't have Gamefly anymore, so I wasn't able to get either of them, but I love the series. I especially like SIGN, and I guess the Twilight Bracelet was pretty cool. ROOTS was a little wierd, though...

Eh. The only .Hack I liked was .Hack\\Sign. Other than that, the characters always seemed a little one-sided or boring.

Also, Sign has the best music in the world for its opening and closing tracks.

I never played the original series outside of maybe an hour, but I am quite enjoying GU

(Oh, and to my knowledge, volume 3 is coming out on Sept 10th, in North America anyways. Though if it's like Volume 2, Canada wouldn't get it until the 17th -_-)

I've played the first two volumes of the original game, and the first two of G.U. I love G.U. half to death. The wait for volume 3 has been eating me alive since I beat volume 2. Happily, the wait is a lot shorter than the wait between volume 1 and 2. n.n That is, if it DOES come out on September 10 (or there abouts) like it should. I sure hope it doesn't get pushed back. <.<

As for the anime, I watched bits and pieces of //Sign. It's ok...when there's nothing else on. //Legend of the Twilight manga I found far more enjoyable than the show. And //Roots........I've never seen it. Because---they didn't use the same English voice actors in the dub that they used in G.U...So I shunned it. *shallow*

Well, yes, the entire soundtrack to Sign makes up the greatest songs in the world.

Yes, the //Sign soundtracks are brilliant. (most Yuki Kajiura stuff is, personally)

I enjoy the G.U. soundtracks too though. Lost ground and avatar songs are pretty.

I'm enjoying //sign right now. This part of Iraq is a great place to find anime. The Iraqis come onto the base and sell us lots of anime at cheap prices. I bought a box set that has //sign, //dusk and //liminality (think that's what it's called).

Sign is the best. I got the whole soundtrack of it.
Fake wings (Make decision remix) is the best track, and Obsession the TV version, and Aura, and the world, the whole soundtrack is just perfect for the anime.
What is GU? I only heard of outbreak, infection and quarantine.

@Xilef: G.U. is the new 3 volume series for the PS2. The first two volumes are out already and the third one is on its way.
It's supposed to take place several years after the first 4 game set. Personally, if you enjoyed Outbreak, Infection and the like, I'd say you'd enjoy the G.U. series too. I find combat in it is a lot more fun. XD
