I currently need a good battle system.

Had me thinking it had to do with Earthboun0/Mother for a moment. And I saw someone mention captain N, that show rocked back in 2nd grade, and it probably still does. PS. The main characters name should be Kevin, and he needs a dog, and team him up with Simon Belmont, Megaman, Princess Lana, Kid Icarus, and a GameBoy.

you know i think we need to steer away from the SQEX franchise and maybe add a new one. Incorporate some past NES characters or - dare I say it - SEGA. Just for kicks have Toe Jam and Earl or Earthworm Jim show up in a cameo or somethin.

This kinda reminds me of an unfinished game I created called 'Upload'. Sort of a hybrid Matrix/Kingdom Hearts mix but with SEGA icons instead of Final Fantasy.

Cool concept though
