gRTP / KH Swampish thingy

Looks really nice!

But... How exactly will the HK's be able to go through the door if there's a blade swooping by?

=O

That.. is actually very impressive. I worry that there are some perspective problems, however I am unfamiliar with the way a circular house would look in the RTP/SNES RPG Perspective.

Also, animate the windmill. Just simply create one or two 4x4 character sheets and rotate it about 10' at a time, perhaps alternating between two original mills, for two different frames of "flap-blowyiness".

I definitely think you went too overhead.

I love the wood texture. Very impressive overall.

It's good to see you starting up something else that you won't finish. Let the teasing begin! =)

very very nice ^^

abouth the windmill:
I saw a script to lock pictures at a place on the map, so it wont move with the player anymore...
if you make the windblades as a oicture and set the middlepoint to the Weelmiddle, you can rotate it with pictures ^^

But i don?t know where i found the script..sry

I don't think there is any wood texture...

He meant the dock, of course there is no texture on the windmill.:)

Looks fabulous. Christ, I wonder how many frames it would take to get a mill like that moving, eh? Especially if it had different insignias or marks on each!^_^

EDIT: I have noticed something. The axle where the actual fins are attatched to the building (can't remember the actual name, think it's tenon?) would not be able to support the weight of the fins and their frame. No offence, but it looks as though it may fall out if it started moving.

Oh my.

I really like that you're working in a large scale, it's refreshing. And to make matters better, you're actualy doing a very good job. Kudos indeed.

The windmill blade is the only real thing I foresee as a problem. Since it's a tileset, the blades won't be animated anyhow, so having the bottom blade in front of the door only makes an obstruction. Simplest way to fix it would be to remove the door, and make it impossible to enter the building. Other than that, there is always shortening the blades, or making them on an angle (the one i'd recommend least)

I agree with J street on this one, I also feel that you went a little to overhead with the perspective. Not to say that this isn't quality work, because this looks amazing. I just think that it needs a few adjustments until it is Amazing.

animated buildings would go under a character set heading rather than a tileset; the same as creating a door that is supposed to open and close.

jhodder if its animated on the tileset and and you set the fan as a event with tileset graphic it would go over.
