Graphics Twist

I saw someones screen shot of what appeared to be a drawn out game and it gave me the idea to try something of my own, since I figured I'd find it easier then making tilesets.
Anyway heres two screen shots from my test "game" (Adventures of Stickman).
Since I've mainly been testing if I can get the maps to work right the graphics may seem a little bit simple.

I'll probably post more screenshots later and maybe even the test when its done, assuming theres interest.

I like the graphics style very much. It feels more lighthearted and cartoony, and of course it won't end up being as much of a drag to do full custom graphics in this style. Love the cinematic map.

Although...does it belong in this section?
I hope this is the right one :S.
I was between this section and the projects section, but since it was a question about the look of the test on top of the fact its not really much of a game as of yet, I though it would be safer to post here.
If it should be somewhere else I apologize.
Once I get the 'test' to a more playable state I'll probably add it to the projects section (unless I'm informed to do otherwise).

This should go to Design and Development, seeing that you want some comments and critique about your game graphic style :)

I like the game graphic so far. The map need some works to make them less flat(Or at least let the player can notice the depth of the scene.) As for the style, I think it fit the character pretty well. ^ ^

Hmm, If you were to make the environments a bit prettier, while playing with the "flat" look, you could achieve some pretty interesting stuff!!
Hmm, id say playing around with the textures a bit and dealing with the sense of depth, which i lacking right now.
