Graphic Filtering RMXP tilesets

Yea that's well spotted. Autotiles for waterfalls aren't done yet I suppose.

It's wrong.

Considering there are already at least 6 commercial games that contain at least some RTP, some of which have been on sale for over 2 years.

this guy made a script to automate using algorithm exes., so you can easily convert stuff using hq4x :D

Note this only works with TGA, BMP is not supported
you have to open command prompt
and type in the following:

the batchfiler.exe's location starting from C:\ <space> the algorithim you use - hq?x <space> the location of the folder in which you have stuff to be converted starting from C:\

like the rest of the command prompt this hates spaces with name DON'T DO IT! it will say file not read

you don't need the stuff he says - you just need the batchfilter .exe/.rb and the hq?x.exe it works like a charm :biggrin:
 
Thanks. I see so that's a batch program. Actually I messed with the default HQ3x exe file and wow, it actually works. I never gave it a chance cause I was on a mac.

Anyway here's the result of it. It scales everything up flawlessly! Who needs genuine fractals filter when you got HQ3x?? o_O

Too bad it might be hard to implement into RMXP itself, like when you run games.

Wow, that looks incredible. If you had the time and patience, you could scale the tiles and sprites up seperatly, so it becomes the size of half kaiser, like that. It would mean mapping everything again, but it really would be worth it.
