This looks amazing. I wish I had a 360. :<

It's on PS3 as well, apparently plays a bit better too! \Fanboi.
Faggots keep saying that, but reviews keep saying there is absolutely no difference. Who am i going to trust? And even if their was a slight difference, I'd still go for the version with DLC. :p

Im not a GTA fan by any means but after riding off a building in a truck and falling from a mile in the sky in San Andreas, I will probably borrow it from someone at work. (Most of my coworkers beat games in about 3 days so no worries there.)

you download the game onto your harddrive with the ps3 version so there's practically no load times and no random object pop up like the 360 version (still, the pop up is very rare and only happens when a new section is quickly streamed from the disc).

Always trust a faggot.  Haven't you heard that one?

Yeah like Marcus said, I'm sure the data streaming from the harddrive helps it out.  There has definately been no pop up visible to me so far on PS3, load times about 5 seconds at the most.

I've got it on PS3, and so far I think it's frikkin fantastic. But really, there are three things really that make it a leap above the others.

#1 - Cover
The cover system is awesome. Let's just put it that way. The first gunfight you have where you actually hide behind your car door should convince you, but it's just sticky enough to be all around excellent.

#2 - Euphoria
If you aren't familiar with Euphoria, it's an advanced AI driven physics engine. That means that characters never go completely ragdoll. They will try to catch themselves, and grab on to things. It's still frikkin awe inspiring to just barely clip someone with a car, and watch them spin around and land on their hands and knees. The first time I bailed out of a car at high speed, I just about shat myself. This is not ragdoll physics.

#3 - Multiplayer
Oh. My. God.

I rented it, and so far, I'd say it's probably one of the best games that has come out this year(excluding SSBB(wich sadly got boring after a while)).  I played this game for 6 hours straight, just doing the most random crap I could....  Hurray for throwing mustard bottles at people!

I honestly do not like it.  I'm playing the 360 version and there's a half second pause when you hit the right bumper which is painful when you're being rushed by enemies.  Also, the camera pisses me off to no end as it always tries to stay behind Niko and even when you move the camera if you move Niko then it'll try to reorient itself behind him.  Third, you can't blind fire behind certain objects like pillars unless you're EXACTLY pressed up against the edge.  Fourth, it takes Niko almost a full second to turn around and it takes two seconds for the camera to readjust to his turning.

I don't know if the PS3 suffers from this problem, but I hate the sensitivity of the triggers.  In order to go into free-aim you have lightly hold one of the triggers but I'm heavy handed so I often hold them down.  This really hurts when blind firing because you have to hold it down for a second or two before Niko pulls his shots off.  Blind firing is really important as the enemies really do run for cover so this problem totally pisses me off.

The combat took me a lot of getting used to because I was so used to playing Saint's Row which has first person style controls.  Why Rockstar couldn't just use that method is beyond me because the controls and camera system (for both foot and vehicles) took so much time to get used to and the first 3 hours of the game were really frustrating.

I've started playing it today and it is pretty impressive, but somehow San Andreas still feels slightly better to me (probably because I was a big fan of it) It's pretty cool nonetheless.

I just watched a video of Niko picking up prostitutes and Niko getting a handjob. Camera views and everything, but it didn't show the full glory or anything. So it got saved by a MA 15 rating anyway.

I'm going to get this for the multiplayer mostly.

Actually Marcus no bull, the L2 trigger handles the aiming sensitivity pretty well from my experience on PS3.  Not one feature in the game is perfect though but when it's so many genres rolled up into one package in such a massive environment it can be forgiven.

I haven't gone onto multiplayer yet, is there any kind of leaderboard o way or "being ranked"?

Too bad they didn't spend more time in the development phase to make this a worthwhile game. Nearly everything is flawed, and they tried to include so much shit without spending the individual time for each feature to really make them good.

Question;  ARE YOU ON CRACK?

Question: Can you look at this objectively?
