Good Animating Program/Software

To all who may have an answer:

What would be a good pixel-animating program (for Macs, preferably)?
I know that Graphics Gale is good for Windows, but that's about all I know...

well since u asked in my topic about what program i used to animated my image
ima guess u asking about what programs u can use or what i used to animate it right?
well i used this program called unfreez, search it on google should be first one, i found it today its free not sure if its good for mac though

Unfreez isn't for mac.

I personally, use a combination of GIMP (current release on Leopard has Tablet Support), and Pixen.
Pixen is a great pixel editor, in fact, it also has tablet support. It's still in beta, but it's one of the best, if you want a native editor. If you have the latest version of X11 and GTK, you should be able to compile mtpaint.

Image Ready is a program by Adobe, and comes with Photoshop (well it did with my version) but so far I've only made bad gif animations with it. I found it to be a bit clunky.

Oh, I have CS3... And now that I recall, I do have ImageReady. But, I did some exploring and found that Photoshop has an animating feature.

Hey, how efficient would Flash be for sprite animation?
