My advice? Don't. If you've known her for any real length of time, when the relationship ends, it'll be very awkward. Also, the relationship itself will be awkward. That's the way it works with many girls who're also friends, I'm afraid.
Or just date guys. Fun stuff.

From an outside view, I'm simpling it down a little. You say you like her and she likes you right? Many friendships often evolve into romantic relationships after a while of time, it actually happens in real life, not just TV, Donna and Foreman

So basically you make the choice you think is best, you say let's just be friends, but then there's always going to be something they're right now you both know it. Other option, you makie a go at it and hope for the best, You never know things might just work out.

I don't have many friends who are fellow guys, and half of them are gay.
And I've only hooked up with a few of the girls who were good friends at the time through out my life, so the idea that the sexes can't be friends without sex is crap.

Though a lot of my friends end up doing that a lot, and it turns into crap.  Then again I'm talking a much older crowd, where half of my friends are getting married if they aren't already, and with the words "8:30 at night" and "can't call anyone" I'm going to guess the age, and say this:

Your obviously young, you'll have the opportunity of thousands of friends, and any friend who you've fooled around with that can't be your friend, will eventually not be your friend anyway.  S'long as your not demanding on her in that way, you'll still be friends.  I'm friends with every single ex girlfriend I've had (cept that one whose still crazy), and almost any chick I've fooled with who I still talk to I'm still friends with.

So have your fun.  Your young you can only get away with so much when your older, so you best start pulling for these things now.

Of course, every guy deals with this situation at somepoint.
When it happened to me I went out with the girl, we broke up about two weeks later and stayed friends, so yeah just asking the girl out is usually the best option, especially if she's hot.
