Gimpshop Problem

Sorry if this is in the wrong section; wasn't sure if it went here or in the computers section.  Whenever I try to save something on gimp; be it a .png, jpeg, etc., the save box just sits there.  You can't cancel, and it won't save.  I use Gimp for EVERYTHING graphic-wise, and I need this fixed.

Never happened before.  I guess I'll reinstall it,

Check your install of the GTK. If it's the savebox, then your issue is with the GTK. The Save Dialog used by GIMP is the standard GTK Dialog- Any program with GTK usage (most Linux apps, even OpenOffice- at least on my settings) uses it
