Generic RPG Maker XP Game

Your maps can use some touching up, and you can try to make the side-things not look crappy. I'm talking about things like the title screen, the text looks kind of pasted on there. You can at least try to make it look fancy by using stroked text etc.

Aside from that, good job. Most humor-based RPG Maker games are crappy because the jokes aren't funny and the creator is trying too hard. I hope that's not the case with this, but I'll try it out.

On a more serious note, I've always thought of making a "joke" game like this (although I know you're serious about this) but it seems like the person would still be putting a bit of time into something that many people would instantly write off.

I apologize for not being able to respond to any of you for so long - my old computer had gotten decrepit to the point that I couldn't load this page without crashing, so I was stuck until I could afford a new computer... which I now have.

Germel: I can re-map it if I want to, but I think it's funnier if I don't. RPG games have 500 square foot rooms inside 60 square foot buildings. They have 10-foot back walls and one-tile front walls so that the player doesn't disappear behind them. They have houses, shops, and buildings of all kinds made with a shitty sense of interior design and no common themes whatsoever. That's the point - it's generic.

Obsorber: I seem to get that a lot.

R.J.: I'm not much of a calligrapher, but I'm happy with how it turned out, and others such as Obsorber seem to be happy too. Though I'm glad my hypothetically un-funny jokes and clearly overachieving personality have won your contempt even before your first playthrough.

Cross Cut is a fantastic skill and should be a part of every RPG Maker game.
