Games with customization

does anyone know of any good games that have a large amount customization? I'm not talking about games like the Sims, but actiony games? So help me out and give me some good suggestions. Any platform supported.

... The Elder Scrolls series. Look it up. I reccomend Morrowind over Oblivion, but Oblivion's the newer of the two.

...customization as in what? Level editors and script writers? Or do you want a game that just lets you build up your character or something?

i know a person who has oblivion but he is a video game nazi and I've rented armored core games. I should buy one of em.

Amourmed Core, Need for speed Underground 1 or 2, Baldurs Gate: Dark Allaince 2

Run Down:
Armoured Core- Play as mechs, customize parts such as head, legs, body, generater, weapons, colour etc.

NFSU- Racing game, customize cars with body parts, engine parts etc. Multiplayer. Online.

BG:DA2- D@D game (well, not really), fsat pace than other D & D games. Customized weapons and armour with stones. Combine stones to create diffrent effects. Multiplayer Co-OP. New Game+, character transfers (into your freinds save file for example).

There are so many other decent ones. But these are off the top of my head.

Well, I can only say Fable or Elder Scrolls 3 or 4. There's not much else that's...actiony. The japanese version of Dirge of Cerberus had an online mode where you can customize you character, all the way to the size of their feet, but that service closed a while ago.
