Games Problem

Yeah I know. I only cleared 80 mb ^^.
I want the optimize the performance on this game. What would be the best choices?

Yeah the evga 8800s are pretty good quality cards. I wasn't impressed with them up until that point, as they were the cheapest brand we carried and cheap typically = low quality,

huh? the 8800GTX models, in the height of their day, cost about $550 brand new from the manufacturer ....

You're probably thinking of GTS, which is considerably worse.

Hell, even NOW 8800GTX's cost nearly $400, and they haven't been top of the line in a long time.

That's dictated more by the features of the card than the quality, and you'll pay close to the same at retail for any card with a comparable set of specs. EVGA wholesales considerably less than, say, BFGTech or XFX though.

@Nahchito: hard to say without knowing the demands of your game, but I'd keep most of that the same except the refresh rate. Set that as high as it allows, always. It has no impact on performance but it helps with eyestrain to have a higher refresh rate. If you are having issues with framerates at those settings, you can drop the resolution down to 800x600 or even 640x480 which should help with that old card. Once you get something newer you'll be able to enable hardware TNL (the geforce 4 series doesn't support it properly), and you should be able to use shadows. I've never played that game though, so I have no idea for sure what a given card can handle.
