Story Synopsis
In a world where Alchemy is a worshiped science by many, two young brothers travel on a journey filled with danger and regret, determined to bring back the one that they loved. Driven by the rumors of the mystical gem known as the Philosopher's Stone, Edward and Alphonse Elric journey to vast lands unknown to them, encountering many who seek the same goal and share the same fate. On their journey to obtain the stone, they learn that there is a greater price to pay, and that nothing is obtainable without equal sacrifice.

Edward Elric's younger brother, Alphonse who is often thought of as the "Fullmetal" Alchemist. Due to the large suit of armor, many believe he received the title for obvious reasons. Although he cannot transmute without a circle, Alphonse has advanced Alchemy skills along with his older brother, and together they search for the Philosopher's Stone to return to their original state.
Winry Rockbell

Born the same year as Edward, Winry has been best friends with the two brothers ever since they were able to speak. Due to their childhood, Winry is able to share her true feelings with Edward when the two are alone. Trained by her Grandmother, Pinako, Winry is an excellent auto-mail mechanic who is usually fixing Ed's mechanical arm.
Roy Mustang

Manipulative in his actions, Roy Mustang is a courageous leader who is also arrogant and playful. Although he appears to be another military officer, his true goal is to become Führer and return the government to it's original state of power.
