I've played Legendia and Abyss. They were both decent. I didn't play with the battle systems much, just kept the default skill assignments and buttonmashed my way through. Legendia had the stupidest looking characters I've ever seen and the otters were the best part of the game.

I'm kinda bummed that there haven't been any good jrpgs on the ps3.

Star Ocean 4 sucked. Final Fantasy XIII sucked. White Knight Chronicles is only part 1 of 2 and had a bunch of issues that prevented it from being fun.
Haven't played Resonance of Fate and don't think I will.

I'm not finished with Star Ocean 4 but from what I've played it's great, Final Fantasy XIII was amazing but it's like marmite apparently, White Knight Chronicles is my favourite RPG on the PS3, Resonance of Fate... I've played 3 chapters and gave up, got bored with it, I agree it isn't too great... so far.

Have you tried Valkyira Chronicles, Disgaea 3, Trinity Universe, Cross Edge, or The Last Rebellion?

I've only played three of them, which are Valkyria Chronicles, Disgaea 3 and The Last Rebellion, all of which I thought were great, Disgaea is by far the best in my opinion, but you could opt for Valkyria Chronicles since it looks great and has the better storyline, not to mention the gameplay is pretty fun, strategy ofcourse, but meh...

Anyway that's offtopic (Although we are talking about JRPG's, lol...)

The site is legit, apparently the NB guy said it was, but now they have to decifer that "image" which we all know is the Tales of Graces F logo. Apparently there's a character called Richard in the game who has an alter ego, which is where we get the tworichards, lol.

I actually think most tales games are fun as hell but the plots are usually awful. Destiny and Eternia are the exceptions (Destiny was FANTASTIC). Symphonia was fun, but holy shit was the story bad. The OSTs are usually pretty rockin', too.

Actually NB's community manager, the one who posts in their facebook and whatnot is called Richard xD so it's actually the Richard in game and the Richard we love haha. Well at least that's what my side of the forums say O: Yours could be right

I was meh okay with Symphonia. Doubtless almost all Tales games are a bit cliche. But they all have good plot imo. I loved the character development in DotNW and Abyss.

Symphonia's story is funny because it is basically Final Fantasy X's story with ninjas in. They all have the same problem where you can tell someone is secretly evil just from the way their VA hams it up early in the game, too.

That said, though, they're some of the only jRPGs I would actually classify as "fun", and yes holy shit the soundtracks oh god

the "F" stands for "future". The PS3 version isn't only enhanced, it has an extra arc that happens after you finish the game. Which is, the F arc lol.
