Welcome to my HKCP Workshop. Yep, I'm going to give this contest a go. I may no be the best spriter, but I'll see what I can do.

Since I've been away, I have missed most of the contest. That means I have one more chance to get all this right.

Update 1: Added a re-color of the brown hair.
Update 2: Started working on a house.
Update 3: Finished the house.
Update 4: Tunic Finished

Well, you did quite good for the hair!

but just a question (out of curiousity), are they supposed to be naked? because his says complete

lol, no. This is for the HKCP, so they're made to be copied and pasted onto a template, and then mixed and matched with shirts and stuff.

EDIT: Edited the hair to fit the discription in the contest, and added a WIP Link type shirt.
EDIT 2: Added a re-colour of the dark hair.

Update: I've started working on a house. It's taken me all day to get to the point I'm at at the moment.

Well to start off, is it possible that you can post the wigs with the kaizers attached to them? I'd like to see what they look like on the template.

Second, I like the hat and shirt, However I do feel they look a bit "painted on". Its most likely do to the modest shading ( and the really soft palette)which seems to flatten out the sprite. If you need shading reference for clothes there are some examples in my sig .

Thanks a lot Venetia. I'll have another go at the clothes hat and hair. I'm glad you like the start I've made to the house, but what do you mean by 'bump'? Do you mean make it more curved?

I believe vene means that the tiles appear flat.
That they seem more like they are pasted on the house rather than actually placed on top of.

EDIT 2: OH GOD!! I've just gone into the HKCP and seen the tileset templates! I didn't even know that they were there! I wasted all of yesterday trying to get my house to be the right proportions, and there was a template all along...
Life is so unfair...

The shirt looks MUCH better. You've used the reference quite well.I think it could use a little simple tweaking, but I like it .

As for the hair, the hairline is a bit too low. With this haircut I really think you should be able to see the eyebrows.

(Veneita, I can't seem to get the tile curving right at all. I've tried and tried, but it doesn't work. I'll try again later.)

The little shirt/tunic looks great! Animate that bad boy.

The tiles need a lot of work, I'll have to do a more in-depth thing later today.

On the cap, don't forget to shade the outlines. Also you made the hilight halo go the opposite direction,

it should be shaped more like a "U"

Yep looks pretty good.
The collar seems to stretch out wider than it should in your moving frames.
