this is one of the tilesets I'm working on for the gRTP, I would like you guys to tell me what things need to be added, and what I ''should'' change. I didn't spend much time on it, so telling me some things look úber ugly won't hurt me XD.

-thanks-

Thats pretty nice, you have done alot. I like the animtaed pieces though evenetually they'd be better in a charset, I don't know anything about the program though so I dont know.

The beds seem really small to me, and the side views of the beds perspective looks wrong as well. Is it all done from scratch? A few things look modified but the majority look totally fesh and new.

they're all made from scratch, but for the beds I used tana's bed template for the gRTP, hmm I guesse they are really small..
well I'll change them later this day.

Tana's right about the beds they do seem small. But I like this tileset. I was looking for something like this, and it might inspire me to make my own gRTP tilesets. The more I see them the more I want to make my own for release.
great job raven

again: it is not that the beds are small, it is that everything else is huge. Plop a halkaizer in at a few points in the set as a size reference while you are making it.

There are a fair number of colouring issues. The outlines are too dark in contrast to the rest of the set... consider another example of the lineart stuff like

- consider the shading on the wood of the doors, the red bricks, and the rounded stones especially in this example. Your colours need a bit of work in a lot of areas, and keeping a consistent pallette with other sets is pretty important. In general they are too saturated and too high contrast. As well, the shading of the wood grain, stone, bricks, etc. is too simplistic even for lineart. You need to give more of an impression of shape to get a professional feel. Try looking at Badmonur's tileset for some examples of similar stuff, or my WIP for some exterior stuff and some colour pallettes.

You're off to a good start, and you have come a ways since you posted this the first time. I am really glad to see you have an analysis topic now :)

Awesome Bro

It's not a bad start! I like it.

I noticed a couple of instances when shading is necessary to finish an object off or to make it seem more like what it's supposed to be. For example

The bookshelf has no depth. It looks like the shelves are just blocks inbetween smaller shelves. I grabbed the fireplace as you put a gradient shadow underneathe, which quite rightly adds depth to the piece. Do the same with each shelf and it will be fine. You did it for a couple of other objects on the tileset, but now one is brought to your attention, I'll leave the rest upto you to spot so you're sure to not make the same mistake again!

Take care!
