All right, I'm a tad late for the 4th, but I wanted to make these so bad and I did it! 

They're on the smallish side, I know - I'm gonna make bigger ones shortly.

It'd be easier to make fireworks with animations rather than events, but there are cute nonetheless

Well, if you do the event correctly, they won't trickle but they will indeed fade.

Hmm. Well, I think they're a bit too perfect for a firework explosion.

Check out this vid. Especially the last explosion. Watch how the individual ball of flame are not distanced quite as evenly apart as demonstrated in your sprite. Add some spontaneity to the path of each fireball.

I sort of agree with Venetia... if the firework effect is during gameplay, it should be an animation. It will run smoother.

These are really good, but instead of having just one type, different colors, I think that there should be variance.

Well, they're still technically WIP, I suppose - I made them real fast for my boyfriend (he's at an airforce base and missed Independence day). I still plan on keeping them essentially as they are now, though - I will change certain things about them, but they'll still remain the pixely goodness they are now.

I'll be releasing a quick demo soon, to show ya'll what I can do with them.
