Firefox Problem

Whilst I am not exactly sure where this topic should go, I need help nevertheless.

Here's the problem, which occurred like two months ago: All of my bookmarks were randomly deleted when I started Firefox. How is this possible? There was no virus on my system, I didn't restart Firefox and erase all of my data, and it's really frustrating.

Normally, this wouldn't be so bad, but as it turns out, it's happened to me about four times, including the first. What should I do?

Did your computer de-activate while using FireFox? This happened to me often, especially while working with PortableFireFox on a computer with Firefox.

In your Application Data --> Mozilla --> Profiles --> [Your Profile] ---> BookmarkBackups

Are all the bookmarks saved in date order, for the past week. Just copy the one you want, into the folder above the Backups folder and remove the date from the filename.
