Ok ...honestly I'm not "absorbing all the comments praising me and shrugging off the ones that criticize." I take them into consideration, ex: Perihelion suggested that I redo the hair and I'm doing such. But if It's my style that I want to try to use darker lines for lips then so be it. Doing such is not "meh" to me. I wasn't trying to go for true realism is all I'm saying, just semi-realism.

Please don't get me wrong im not trying to downplay your style. It probably took a great deal of effort to get to the point where you're able to produce this calibre of work and I'm not trying to make light of it. All im saying is that even if its "semi-realism" It still doesn't look right. The lips were shaded well but the really dark line just flattens it back out again and makes it look really awkward, almost plastic. I'm only speaking from experience, take the advice if you want or keep calling it your style.

From now on I'll make my lips with more shading and no more darker lines if that'll make it any better then, badmonur.

Well, i didnt say it was wrong. For an anime piece a solid dark line would have went nice but here you have all these subtle skin tones and soft hues of pink flesh and this dark anime line jumping out at you. Its not wrong just....out of place

sultry. Now the specular on the bottom lip. Its forming a hard line at the bottom because the lines are all even at the bottom. Its making the bottom lip look off kilter.
