Although it's a remake, something I shy from, since it's a remake of my favourite FF thus far, i'll let that slide. Especially since it looks pretty good. BUt please do pay attention to the 3/4 style when makking your graphics, the characters kind of clash with the tiles, some of which are texture rips yes, but they can still be adjused to be 3/4 quite quickly with graphics gale's adjust color tool.

Hey, I'm still working on this. At the moment I'm working on making Blizzard's Switch look like FF8's. I've also implemented:
Desperation Attacks by KGC (Critical Limit Breaks)
Blizzard's Tons of Add-Ons (too many to mention)
The command window in battle is now in the correct position. I've set a deadline for a demo (without including scripts) to be around July.
Also, since I'm not Square, or Tetsuya Nomura, or any of the fantastic 3D artists at Square, I'm using my own artwork style, one that fits with the engine I'm using (RMXP). Yes, anime-esque.

And this game isn't a remake- it's a sequel. I've been looking at ways to make it defined from the original FF8. I'm not going to have an identical menu system (that is kind of silly), I would like to make improvements to the FF8 system but since I don't have that I can't.
I want to keep the Junction system but add a Ability Learning system for the characters as well as GF's as secondary option. It gives you less power but can't be undone, unlike some boss battles in this game where all GF's are supposed to be un-Junctioned. Without using the Ability Learning system all your characters would have for that fight is "Attack".
Which would be difficult.

Alright then, I also changed some screenshots. I'm still working on tiles for D-District and only that bridge is ready still (I work slow >_>). The Galbadians are a WIP, I'm working on the template so nothing leans that for back :/.
