FF7 was the first RPG game with FMV am I correct? It had revolutionary graphics at the time. In fact, the graphics aren't that bad at all. I still visit my pantry to play it on my psx on occasion. Point is, graphics don't make the game. (Abe's oddysey anyone?)

The game sounds cool but looks like absolute shit. It doesnt look appealing at all. I love FFVII and im not saying it looks like shit because of the graphics. It looks like an asian rom hack of FFII with frankensprited characters and poorly redone FF7 facesets (wait, holy shit it IS). The battles look boring and redundant. The midi sounds like straight shit.
This just proves the fact that SE could have a homeless man in Tokyo take a sloppy shit in a shoe-box, take a Sharpie marker and write Final Fantasy on it, slap it on ebay and they would make the Trump wince with the profit.

Imagine this being made officially with international translations and without those draw backs by Square back in the 80's...It would have been the best NES game of all time and it would have had a series of crappy spin-offs and the name would be over used to sell crappy merchandise, nothing like what has happened with the real FF7...

I've been doing NES generation maps a lot lately, and I felt like they were pretty decent: now I'm just going to go and hang my head in shame.
What's the best way to rip graphics - either from the ROM or the images? I really want that train...and the boat. :|
