Few Questions

Now, I know there are a few scripts out ther that are used for handeling serial keys for games (should the creators want to use them).

However, I have a few questions regarding the encryption of the added files, and handeling of the serial keys.

What I'm wondering is if it is possible to have all of the extra files that come with a game (even encrypted) password protected so that only RMXP can access them? I ask because of this next question: Also, is it possible for it to have serials (say 15 characters long, randomly generated) stored within the script? Instead of a X-X value with certain keys in place?

I ask because when (and probably if :P) I release my game for sale, I want to avoid having it pirated (it can be very easy...simply copy and share) as much as possible, without it being detrimental to running the program. And also, make it harder to hack the serial keys by having up to 2000 randomly generated (with nothing in common) keys made that I would issue one by one.

On that same note, is it possible for the program to send a check to a site or something to see if a key has been used or not already, to prevent someone simply sharring their key?

I'm not asking for these scripts, just wondering if it's even possible. I want to keep as much of the game from being 'exploited' or possibly shared when I don't want it to be. While the password protection/super encryption of the extra files isn't so big (it is just audio files, right?) the serial keys are a big thing. However, it may not even be a big thing. Thoughts? Suggestions on what I could do instead?

Thanks

I don't think you have to worry as rmxp commercial games aren't really known much outside the community, making it go over the heads of hackers.

I'm just going to use a professional encryption/serial key program.
It makes more sense to me rather than RGSS, it woud have more bug free-hacker proof features.

But I haven't researched that yet, not to that point.
The bridge is way over there--------------------------->

I use download.com for professional programs, it's the safest place to download.

there is a program there called 'Advanced Encryption Package 2007 Professional 4.6.11'
it's 50 or so dollars or something like ?25-?30 if you use GB.

and as for being paranoid don't worry I get that all the time with my project I have even copyrighted my games title (which is normal) and i have only done the world map, wrote some scripts and made some sprites far from completion.
