Well,first of all i have a problem with text timing,is there any way to time text without using script?When I have something like mike and tom,I enter for example  that mike says "hi tom" and after that "how are you?",and I enter that Tom says "Hi" "great",so I want this:
Mike:hi tom
Tom:hi
Mike:how are you?
tom:great
but I am getting this:
mike:hi tom
mike:how are you?
tom:hi
tom:great

I red that there is some script dubalex AMS or something like that for text timing,but I am not sure how does that work so I would appriciate if someone would explain more about using scripts.I would also like to know how to make message that shows for 5 seconds  "Tom's house" when I enter house.

Um... I really don't understand your thing AT ALL. It doesn't make sense that the ext would be displaying out of order (unless you're writing them out of order). Can you take a screenshot of the editor?
 
That is weird unless he is making like seperate events for each line of text or something.

In your event (that's when you have one of those semi tranparent squares on the grid) is all the speech inside just one of them.

What I assume you are doing is writing tom's dialogue actually inside tom, is that what you are doing?
 
Maybe he wants each dialogue box to disappear after a certain amount of seconds and the next to appear?

vsn, in case you didn't know, the dialogue appears in order as you show it, and won't go on/disappear until you press Space/Enter.
 
Sounds like Calibre understood. Text in more than one event.

vsn, It appears you are making a cutscene.
The first cutscene I tried to make also had everything in seperate events. I learned quickly that this was a surefire way to give yourself a major headache.
What most people do for cutscenes is put a blank event, up in the corner or somewhere out of the way, and control all of the other events motion & dialogue from one event.

There are a few custom message systems that will also allow you place the messages over a specified event, and have them disappear after a specified waiting period.

For the "map name" or "Location" display, there are several scripts available that display the map name on the map screen, or in the main menu. Search on "Map" "Location" "Display"... 
You could also do this with events, and a regular message box, but it doesn't look as good.

umm sorry maybe I set the question wrong,but brewmeister understood,yes its a cutscene I did it in seperate event which was a problem :),tnx mate,cheers :)
