Well, being the nosey prat I am, and how bored I am (and hungry/tired/thirsty etc.), I was just wondering what's your favourite bakery good.

they do have some really good stuff, the breads are really nice, to be honest i prefer chinese bakery stuff, and just so you know pineapple bun is only called that because the outside kinda looks like a pineapple, so if you want pineapple bun with pineapple in you have to ask for pineapple pineapple bun XD

Oddly I hate fruit cakes - but then again any time I refer to a stollen as a fruit cake I get lectured, so apparently they aren't fruit cakes so it's okay for me to like them so much.

Are you serious? I've never heard that before.But if I think again, I guess that no matter to which country I went, bakery goods never tasted as good as here...

A lot of places usually do them on Christmas, but some do them year round. If a place is known for being seasonal, then they'd most likely -if they made stollen- make it for the Christmas season. But I have a great place near me - though it's a bit expensive - that makes them year round, though does seasonal things with it at times.
