So, who's your favorite Video Game composer of all time?

Is it Nobuo Uematsu, who did work on just about every Final Fantasy game?

Or how about Motoi Sakuraba, made famouos fot his work the Tales series, Star Ocean, and Baten Kaitos?

Kenji Ito from the Mana and SaGa series(es)?

What about Yuka Tsujiyoko, who did alot of the music from Fire Emblem?

Or Yasunori Mitsuda, who Chrono Trigger and Xenogears?

Mark Seibert, Chance Thomas, John Winski, and Jeremy Soule.

Uematsu sucks. The only notable Japgame composer is Yoko Shimomura, and solely for Parasite Eve.

They're prob not all that known, but they make all the soundtracks for Gust games.

Jeremy Soule and Yoko Shimomura.

Nobuo Uematsu was good back in the late 1980's, just after FF1 was released.  His orchestrations were great.  He didn't get that good again until he started The Black Mages, but all they're good at is making old stuff awesome.  Their original songs suck.

Jeremy Soule and Gerard Marino (American) and Im surprised no one has said Hitoshi Sakimoto or Michiko Naruke. Uematsu is good, but his shit is so recycled it makes me sick. Sakuraba has hit and miss music.

I also like Yozo Koshiro, Yasuhiro Kawasaki, Kenji Ito, Shinji Tamura, Noriyuki Iwadare (Grandia's OST is the best OST for a game ever.), Tempei Sato, Kohei Tanaka, Naoto Tanaka and David Bergeaud.
