Fading in and out the screen....

Introducing the n00b question of the day. Okay this is starting to bug me. I want the screen to like, fade out and fade back in. RPG Maker 2000, which I'm more used to using, had something like this. Problem is that I can't seem to find the event command to do that in XP, maybe because it's not in clear sight or anything. >_> Seriously I need the fade out and fade in effect for my cutscenes, else they will look like crap.

So yeah... I think I recall XP being able to do this through an event command, but I can't find it so yeah. :/

And I don't mean transitions, they are no good to me.

Event page 2, Change Screen Color Tone.
This changes the RGB and Gray values over the X amount of frames. Meaning, you can go from point 0,0,0,0 (default) to -255,-255,-255,0 (totally black) in 20 frames or 80 frames. The limit doesn't change.

The color tone change is also used to change the looks of maps' environments. Like for instance add full grayscale for black and white for flashbacks maybe. Add some more green, less red for spring forests, some more red than green if autumn. The list goes on. I find this command very useful for making environments in my games.

Hope this helps.
