When I have like a big event the event cuts out when I transfer player. I want it to continue on the new map as if it's the same event because thats what I need.
I'm not sure but if you desperately need it, does it make a difference if you call a common event and have it all in there? I.e. does transferring the player cut a common event off too? It probably does but I don't have RM to test it right now.
But yeah just use self switches to hide the autostart when it's done if you need to visit the same map again.
Nope. This is another good reason to keep all cutscene releated events as common events. You can fade to black, transfer the player, then fade back.
Its a common mistake I see when play testing other people's games. They tint the screen but forget to tint it back. That plus fixing spelling errors is so much easier to maintain if its all organize in the common event tab.
