Hello everybody, first of all i just want to introduce myself as im a new poster here, and this is my first post.. well.. ever.. ahaha
Anyway im very new to rpg maker in general, i have had it on my PC for a while now but never really understood it, so when VX came out i gave it one more shot, i have never made a game before (i did make a one dungeon piece of **** that wasnt really a game) and i have only been using this for a week, so i am by no means any kind of pro or anything like that, i am quite new to the entire thing
One thing that i do feel i am good with though is stories, the story for this game here is quite solid and only grows as it progresses, i have been working with RPG maker VX for the past 3 days and i got a short about 30 minuite demo done, im really proud of myself for completing somthing on this program
I would love for someone to try it out and give me some feedback on it, what they like/dislike and that sort of thing, like i have said a few times before im EXTREMLEY new to this, so no flaming please (but constructive criticism is perfectly fine and quite honestly wanted)
so, if someone could please find the time to try this out id greatly appreciate it.
Also i am planning on making this a full time project at some point, and odds are i will need some people to assist me in some area's because im not too great with the program yet, if anyone would be intrested in learning more about this project please do not hesitate to send me a PM

Story
The story takes place around a youg boy named nano. He has grown up his whole life in a house not far from a small village named Isalia. He has no memory of his parents or anything like that, the way he describes it to people is that, its not that he has an amnesia or anything like that, its more that he was just too young to remember and has only known being alone. 2 Years before the game begins a tragic event happened to Nano and his 2 friends Flynn and Cairn (who also happened to be brothers). One day when they were out in a small forest not to far off from the village, they were playing as they always did, sparring with wooden swords and all the stuff kids normally do.
They had a day full of adventure and fun, but it got late and was time to return home, when they got to the fork in the road where they usually split to go there seperate ways they said there goodbyes and were off. A few minuites down the road Nano heard a terrifying scream, running back with a lump in his heart he saw a terrifying sight, a man with a robe over his head stood over flynn with a bloody blade raised, ready to strike. Nano called out "FLLLLYYYNNNN!!!!!!!", when the man saw him he muttered somthing and a portal appeared, he walked through and the portal closed. Flynn fell unconsious immediatly after.
To the right there was a bloody corpse, nano walked up slowly and threw up seeing that it was his friend Cairn, completly dead cutup into multiple pieces. Nano threw up and also lost conciousness. The story takes place 2 years after this event, Flynn and Nano are still friends and Nano is having reocuuring dreams that have happened since he witnessed his friend, cairns death, after awaking from one of these dreams he realises it is the day of the festivel in Isalia... and this is where our story begins

Name: Nano
Age: 16
Bio: The main character of the game, a boy who is greiving over the loss of his best friend Cairn and has strange dreams, there is more to this child than meets the eye
Name: Flynn
Age:17
Bio: Nano's best friend and was Cairn's twin brother, a strong fighter as well as a good friend to nano
Name: Gritz
Age: 24
Bio: The leader of an anti-empire group known as "Tornado", a strong warrior that uses an axe
Name: Taura
Age: 16
Bio: A mysterious girl with magic powers, mostly trained in white magic and healing powers, she claims not to remember where she came from or how she ended up where she was, she only has 1 memory of her father and that is a day at the park with her father when she was extremly young and she picked a flower, she keeps that flower with her at all times now
Name: Ether
Age: ??? (looks to be about 10)
Bio: A black magic user, he is extremly silent and will only speak to nano, not much is known about him
Note: This is an extremley character driven game and i dont want to give too much away about them, so only the brief bio's willbe provided at this time
Features
Because my programming abilities are very limited there is not much i have to offer in this field, however i do feel that my story is very strong and takes many original twists at the end, my goal for this game is not to make somthing ground breaking in terms of a game, but to tell a great story that i have put much thought and consideration into

Credits
So far only i have worked on this, and all the sprites and tilesets and music are from RPG maker VX, nothing additional has been added, however in future demo's and the full version i plan to add many new things
Notes
In the dungeon at the end, there will be a scene that may happen (its not essential) after it you will teleport to the left hand side of the room, this is now fixed and was a stupid problem on my end
P.S Sorry about the demo, though i am fluent in english it isnt my first language, so the occasional spelling or puntuation mistake will be in there, they will be fixed in the full version when it ever gets done
P.P.S Yes the demo ends with a gameover screen

Features
