okay i downloaded pokemon starter kit and also this goes for other games whenever i open download project i always get

this error is so anoying i downloaded rpg maker vx since this error kept poping up and rpg maker vx lets me edit projects O e
I have windows xp so i dont know whats wrong......

Do you have a legal, English, version 1.02e copy of RMXP? If you don't that is your problem. This error crops up most often when people use something like Postality Knight's Edition, and are trying to open a project made with the legal version.
