Yes, this is most certainly the epitome of an epic game. Nice job, I applaud you.

Anyways, enough sarcasm. The title which didn't attract me, just made me want to see how foolish it was going to be. Your maps a mediocre, and your story is...garbage. There is nothing you could possibly give away. Homer Simpson as a character...All I can say is good luck.

I just played through it (I think). I got the guard to open the gate, and I can't get through it, so I'm assuming that's where it's supposed to end. There are a bunch of minor gripes, mostly grammar and mapping related, but for the most part it seems to have good character, which is obviously what you were going for. I enjoyed the character interactions and whatnot.

A few things really stood out as errors: when you fight the two guards at once, you repeat that battle every time you step onto one of the spaces in front of them, even after you defeat them. Also, a bunch of stuff you can just walk through that you're not supposed to, like bits of wall here and there. Too much of that to point out individually.

But mostly, it's fun so far. Not the most technically dazzling, obviously, but I smiled while playing it, which is what you were going for.

i liked it, there where a few bugs but i kept in mind it was a demo so its cool =]

but in the final product will all the charsets be the same style?

anyway i thought it was pretty cool.

It wasn't unnecessary it was an opinion and an unbiased one at that, he didn't hold back to spare the creator feelings if he said:

"Complete and total shit you fail please die."

Then it'd be a bad criticism but he actually points out things that the creator has done wrong, I for one think that this "Epic game" which is trying to be a parody of RPGs fails because you use Homer Simpson who is a television character. Honestly it would have been better having used Cloud as a main character, Sephiroth as a back up and some other overly loved or hated RPG character in there to complete the mix.

Homer isn't a serious character to begin with so creating humor with him is harder than usual, Cloud and Sephiroth are uber serious characters so creating humor with them is easier. When you do a parody there HAS to be a decent storyline most of the time the most cliché one is used and then abused for humor, parodies are very hard to pull off, I'm sure that the people who made Not another teen movie, Date movie and Epic movie had a long think to make them as good as they are.

No offense but yours seems a bit randomly chucked together which is the first flaw, any game needs to be well planned and executed, I think you should re-think some of the devices you have used and perhaps get some advice on cliché devices so you can make it a good parody.

I think also to avoid bugs in your game hire a beta tester and also if you want to delete off an event after it's been used (e.g. The knight battle) make a new page and make it so it's activated by "Self switch A" and at the end of the first page have it activate "Self switch A".

That's my two cents (more like 6) take it as you will.

Actually it was a mix of the two if you look at it he does have a sarcastic first line which is pointless but after is crit, it may be mainly negative but he's still providing a review of what he's read/played.

Yes it is off topic if you really want to talk about Naruto make a topic in Other Entertainment, otherwise don't post about it in completely unrelated topics.
