I'm curious as to why most people here find this a complete joke.

There's a reason for the trial in the first place.  They want to see exactly how much their current staff do, and what it'd be like with people in charge that the community chose.  So if anyone ever gripes saying that the moderators are crap, they can point to a case of either greater or lesser value for the community when they decided who was in charge.  That, or the staff is bored.

Edit: It's probably also a good opportunity to see if they can scout new people.

IT'S AN EXPERIMENT GUYS. Just go along with it and see how it turns out! It's for just over two weeks! No one's gonna die. The forum's not going to crash and burn. The worst that can happen is that we all agree it's a bad idea and we don't do it again. This could be a good thing, who knows?

Sonata, if people only have an opinion regarding one or two people, I'd rather they they voice their votes for those people and leave the rest blank than arbitrarily fill the other slots.

I'm not stepping down because of the experiment, I have had a lot of shit go hit the flan in the really real world.  The experiment, not so much it - but these other things brought out due to it, did kind of make it easier, but it wasn't the reason as to why.

As for if it's for good or not - that all depends on if things get together on my end, and if I'm allowed back if that does happen.

Except that things like "Moderator: Missingno" don't help when there's 17 different moderator slots :p
