Yeah, this new solo album by System of A Downs lead singer, Serj Tankian. I just bought this yesterday and I'm absolutely in love with it. Does anyone else have any feedback on this album and maybe some of the SOAD albums.

Yeah, he still is. It's weird, i've never really liked him, he needs to get some vocal lessons.

I am a SOAD fanatic, I have every one of their songs on my iPod. I am just not to enthused about more preaching from Serj. While they've always been political, recently they are too blatant. Their hidden meanings from their first three albums make for some great tunes, but the newer stuff, which is amazing, though it is too political.

They need to get off their hiatus and make some more songs like Peephole and Mr.Jack, the songs that make you think.

Yes, i agree with you in the political part.
have you heard some of serj's songs? they are political, but not as political as some of the deep songs on hypnotize and mezmerize.

As long as they aren't BS songs like Boom, Boom I might listen to it. I used to like them a lot until they started all this political crap. SOAD has a nice unique sound though and I saw them live twice. They put on a good show.

this is a really really bad album. i don't mind if people are political so long as they do it in a way that isn't TERRIBLE and mr. tankian failed pretty badly at that (clearing the way for the oil brigade clearing the way for the oil brigade). "honking antelope" is listenable, though.
