a nice start indeed, you might want to post or make sprites that go with that tileset as most rtp will clash a bit.

@SamusK: The characters? Once I'm done the tiles, and I'll probably end up nuding one for a template too.

Next up: Currently Nuding Locke from FF6 for a (proper) template, as I find the one in the Database is totally off proportion.

The Rourke sprite is a good start. I like how you've started the trousers, some more detail could be used nearer the bottom of them. I like the hair the way it is, nice shading style, the shirt seems kind of plasticy and shiny, maybe revise some shading methods there, try to concentrate on some slight folds a little more to work with the pallette.

Its about time you got one of these. The FF6 template doesnt look.. erm.. FF6 enough.. The guy looks to fat. Good other than that.
