Editted Tileset

I've been looking for a different look to the RTP style.
So I decided to edit it to have more of a bloomish effect like most new MMORPG.
I know the shadows are kinda dark. But that'll be fixed soon.
I'm looking for feedback, and C&C.

It's too blurry for me. I don't know how my eyes would adjust to looking at images like that for a prolonged period of time. It does look softer, though.

@alexia : I tried making it softer, which worked out well. Not sure if its too blurry though. Looks fine to me 0_o

@Leknaat : thanks. As for the shadows, I know they're kinda messed up for now. But I'll be fixing that soon :D

Awesome Bro

right click > duplicate layer > Filter > blur > gaussian blur > 4.0 > change the layer type to overlay = This effect. Just lower the opacity of the overlay layer to make the effect more subtle.

Not trying to put you down or anything, it's just showing how easy it is to do incase people wanted to take it further.

I might start work on an entire RTP remake with this little effect, if that's okay with you, shadowfox. Or if you are planning on doing this, I'd love to help.

i will be making the entire RTP tilesets, autotiles, etc
with this effect.

Feel free to make them as well.
I'll be post adding them as soon as they're completed.

You'd have to antialiase the characters as well. I don't think you could do this for all of the templates, such as underground, because there is little light. But in a seaport or a sunny house, it would look perfect.
