Dallas is a young man who travels the world in an effort to find lost knowledge. He draws his power from books and most of his spells are cast by use of an ancient language. He journeys with his traveling partner, Arem. Although he is still young, he is a well known expert in ancient literature.

Arem is a demonic creature, called an Incubus, from another dimension. He was dragged into this dimension by an unknown force. He shortly befriended Dallas, who had already found out about his demonic nature. Arem specializes in quick and damaging attacks. He also possesses the ability to alter his form, giving him a great deal of diversity in battle. Arem accompanies Dallas on his search for lost knowledge in the hopes of finding a way back home.

Quote: “The great and powerful mystic, Miriam, has arrived to banish you back into the void where you belong.”
Miriam is a young mystic who has recently taken to traveling the world banishing dark entities. She quickly clings to Arem and Dallas in the belief that following them will lead her to new creatures to banish. Despite her bravado she is fairly inexperienced. Despite this, she is useful, both as a fighter and a healer. She is unaware of what Arem really is, a testament to her inexperience.

Lily is the daughter of two incredibly wealthy nobles from the nation of Soros. She has always been able to get anything she wanted in life, making her fairly snobby. At the age of fourteen she had her parents hire a tutor from a small village to teach her the art of manipulating the elements. Four years later she left home in a misguided attempt at adventure. Shortly into her adventure her ship crashed, leaving her stranded half way around the world. All she saved was the clothes she was wearing and an enormous sum of money. She quickly met up with Caleb and agreed to pay him handsomely to act as her body guard until she made it home.

Quote: “This blade is stained with the blood of a hundred demons. Well, it would be if I never cleaned it. You know what I mean.”
Caleb spent most of his early years being trained by first his father and then his brother in the art of demon hunting. He'd spent the last few years hunting down demons across the globe until running into Lily only recently. While demon hunting was his life's calling, it didn't pay very well. In a fit of pragmatism he agreed to her offer to be her bodyguard until he successfully got her home. He had severely underestimated how annoying she could be, and quickly regretted his decision.

Liam is a skilled bard renowned throughout numerous kingdoms for his incredible musical talents. He even prevented the outbreak of war between two neighboring countries. What is not widely known about him is that his gift is a blessing that was bestowed upon him by an angel at an early age. This power also makes him more sensitive to worlds flows allowing him to sense the chaos that has begun to threaten the world. Only recently he began traveling with the dancer, Nora.

Nora is a talented dancer from a village in the desert. She was born with a birth mark on the back of her right shoulder, heralding her as a gift from the gods. She left home at the age of fourteen at her families insistence, hoping that she may help the world in it's time of need. She made her way using her talent at dancing for many years until she came upon Liam on the road. He immediately saw her for what she was and took her under his wing, hoping to cultivate the power she possesses.

Beryl was the leader of an elite group of soldiers of the Garovas empire three years ago, the youngest person to ever achieve the rank. Two years ago the Garovas empire, long separated from the rest of the world was decimated when a portal opened to another dimension, causing demons to spill forth. She was one of the few survivors and now fights tirelessly to reclaim her homeland.

Slowly but surely the world of Abeo has begun to fall into chaos. The boundaries between this world and others is beginning to degrade, allowing portals to other worlds to open. Already this activity has all but destroyed the Garovas Empire. Now other nations are beginning the notice the drastic increase in demonic activity. Amid the chaos a scholar and an incubus will stumble upon an ancient secret in there search for knowledge. What they decide will seal the fate of the world, one way or the other.
