Dual Gear - 3D Mecha Strategy Game

Dual Gear is a 3D Mecha Strategy Game made in Unreal Engine 4 that blends a style of 3rd person shooter with turn based strategy, comparable to that of Valkyria Chronicles.

The game currently has a demo on its website and from what I've played the graphics are absolutely stunning. So far the gameplay seems well conceptualised however hasn't reached its full potential. With that being said, it is only a demo, and the team behind it have an indiegogo campaign up to raise finds so this project can come to fruition.

While I feel it's currently lacking, there are a lot of cool things about the gameplay, like the fact that you can blow off different parts of enemy mechs; something I feel has been lacking from the 3D mecha genre for quite a while. They also already have quite a range of weapons, but they are your usual suspects:

• Assault Rifle
  Shotgun
  Sword
  Fist
  Like, 3 types of missiles or something. (I could only figure out how to use 1.)

The game feels very much like I'd imagine a 3D Front Mission game to be and I really cannot wait to see more from this. (I know Front Mission: Evolved exists, but IMHO it really wasn't good enough.)
