Driveby shouting

For some reason I have become the focus of most driveby shoutings. I am really curious as to why... so I ask all of you for any ideas on the subject. I wear a WW2 paratrooper jacket, have bright red hair, a green shirt, and glasses. What would cause any random person to slow down thier car to scream some odd obsenity at me? This is not a 'woe is me' tale or anything of the sort. I am just wondering why I seem to offend so many people. Atleast ten drivers and passengers decided to yell at me thusly. Me and my girlfriend were quite confused, so we didn't even bother getting upset. Is there some secrect WW2 paratrooper red hair squad running around that I don't know about?

WW2 paratrooper jacket... the stuff the good guys were wearing when they attacked the bad guys. No swastikas on my stuff... though the red hair may have offended a few people. *ponders* I do not think I could have become infamous in such large of a city when I hardly know the area I live in. How horrible could my reputation become after one year? And I was obeying all traffic laws as a pedrestrian, crossing only when told and such. Much less most of the cars were on the opposite side of the road.

The Wolfgang does not wear big gay boots, though I did leave my good tanned leather boots at home today. As far as I could tell, I wasn't too much of a fashion travesty. Though had I been, why would fat guys and rednecks scream at me from the other side of the road?

Because you look different. If you "stand out" people (usually females or male who are trying to impress females) will generally try and assert "trend dominance" over you because you are resisting the "trend" that they are in. They have come to believe that their trend should be a social norm or rule that needs to be followed and you are breaking that rule. Or, you are trying really hard to be different and it is annoying everyone because your trying to be an attention whore or you are too prideful/lost in a fantasy world/ignorant of the truth (example: calling yourself "the wolfgang" or "the prince of wolves".) People are generally afraid of the unknown/what is different. It's psycology (I hate that class...)
