Dream Sequence

I was wondering if anyone knew of a script that would create something of a memory/dream effect on the screen. What I mean by this is sort of... blurring the corners, as if making a cirlce around the edge of the screen. I suppose it would be almost like cave lighting, except it's more of a fog and the visible area would be quite a bit bigger to allow the player to still see what's going on and play the game.

Hopefully that makes sense... Does anyone know what I mean and can you help me?

Posting a screenshot of what you want would be useful.
My first thought about it is, Pictures + Events maybe? As you said, like cave lighting, but bigger.
But it's probably not the exact effect you want.

Can you elaborate please?

All you have to do is in your events add a "show picture" command, select the picture - and that's it.  Don't even have to edit anything
if you want less of a blackness, or to add color, quick edits will do that with no time.

And yes, I know "script request" but why script what takes almost the exact seconds to event than it is to use (forget about making)?

A simple invert colour on that should do the trick.

I've taken a look at this, and I have seen what I can do to make this look better.

I used the pic from above, made an unreal looking fog, and de-saturated the screen tone.

and as for the de-saturation, put RGB on -25 each and put grey on 100.
