Got the idea to draw maps instead of spriting them, did this in like 20m and im awfuly sleepy so copy paste is my friend right now lol. Iso tactical battle. Looking foward to seeing comments when i awake. Its just a start, keep that in mind

i say run with it. looks neat.

you'll have to be sure that the sprites look atleast semi-painted too, though, so they won't clash. obviously not fully, but they'll need to be pretty detailed.

That's amazing work.  This is a style I've always wanted to use in a game, but I have neither the talent or the patience, both of which it looks like you have.

I'm curious to see how you'd do an outdoor area.
