anyone who's listened to my music or really just TALKED TO ME knows i'm into weird shit and like to make weird shit. some of this has purpose; some of it's just for kicks. i'm going to post some of both.

Spoiler: nes glitch~

this is all GLITCH ART from different nes games, made by altering the RAM of the games in an emulator (in this case nnnesterj) to cause processing errors. if you've heard dq³ this is pretty much the same thing just with graphics (if you havent heard dq³ you should it's cool as hell).

also from dragon quest 3. i think this was heading to the castle? this is probably my favorite of all of these; the fact that i hadn't even met the king yet makes the text cool as hell to me.

Spoiler: databending

this is probably the easiest (and arguably most fun) way to make weird shit ever but it's frustrating as hell. pretty much you open a jpg in notepad and fuck around with the contents and save it as a jpg. if you did it right shit will be weird. if you fucked up the image is broken and you gotta start again. it's cool once you get INTO IT because you start learning new techniques and get a hang of how to cut out really tiny portions of the image or reposition them and shit it's dope.

everything below was bent from a picture of paris hilton crying in the back of a police car. i don't have the source image on hand but if anyone can find it it'd be cool!

this one's cool because the image data just sortof DIES in areas so it's just solid blocks of muddy color.

this is my first attempt at the WORDPAD EFFECT - opening a jpg in wordpad, changing one thing, and saving it. wordpad adds a buttload of junk data to files so in images it usually translates into a weird sortof BENDING effect that's really cool imo.

This is really weird shit, but it's also cool. I like the databending more than the NES glitching, but that SMB thing is pretty neat-looking.

I really have no idea what else to say about this, but it's definitely interesting!

I tried this also. Open JPG and fuck up contents, but it does not work.
