I have a mini poodle-shitzu cross about three years old and lately
she's been acting really funny.
Normally, if she's really cold (just had a bath/went swimming and is wet, was outside in snow) she shivers. That's pretty normal right?
Well lately, she has been seriously "shivering" or shaking a lot. It doesn't seem to effect her behavior, she does all the things she'd
normally do, she just does them while shaking. It's gotten to the point where I'm surprised if I find her not shaking.
Her breathing has also been heavier and faster lately.
I'm aware that it is winter, and I live in Canada so it is pretty cold outside, but she's been through winters before and has never
reacted like this.
Yesterday I tried to pick her up and she wined louder then I've ever heard her before. I checked for any possible injuries where I had touched her
but I couldn't find anything.
The only reason I'm posting this here is because ATM I am in no financial position to take her to a vet, and I'm getting really worried about her.
Does anyone know what might be wrong?
