Dog's health problems?

I have a mini poodle-shitzu cross about three years old and lately
she's been acting really funny.
Normally, if she's really cold (just had a bath/went swimming and is wet, was outside in snow) she shivers. That's pretty normal right?
Well lately, she has been seriously "shivering" or shaking a lot. It doesn't seem to effect her behavior, she does all the things she'd
normally do, she just does them while shaking. It's gotten to the point where I'm surprised if I find her not shaking.
Her breathing has also been heavier and faster lately.

I'm aware that it is winter, and I live in Canada so it is pretty cold outside, but she's been through winters before and has never
reacted like this.
Yesterday I tried to pick her up and she wined louder then I've ever heard her before. I checked for any possible injuries where I had touched her
but I couldn't find anything.
The only reason I'm posting this here is because ATM I am in no financial position to take her to a vet, and I'm getting really worried about her.

Does anyone know what might be wrong?

erm...Frost bite? Dunno, Just keep her warmed up. She might just be doing it for attention..I've had/known dogs that do weird stuff like that to get attention

Hmm....that is a problem....she really might need a vet...it could be nothing but I'd really recommend you ask a few people who might be more knowledgeable in this field, you could try this: http://pet.justanswer.com/?r=gaukpets&g ... QwodEBdmCg

To see if you really need to take her to a vet, I'd imagine if she was really sick and needed help finances wouldn't be your first priority. maybe ask a couple of people you know as well.

EDIT: you have to sign up for that site, but it's probably worth it, you'te likely to get a better answer than you would here, also it's a free opinion from a vet.

If you have scoured the internet for help, I suggest taking her to a vet.  At this point, money should not be an issue.

Try wrapping her in a warm blanket at night and make sure she isn't sleeping on a cold floor.  Also check for constricted breathing/wheezing.

About three she says. Does the dog have trouble passing urine or struggle to squat? Might be some kind of abdominal problem. I'm going to agree with iceplosion in taking her to a vet just to get her checked out and make sure she's okay. I wish the best of luck to you and your dog.

my dog had surgery today  cuz she had a tumor in her right ear, just thought id share that cuz i saw this thread here

Gee, that helps. :/

Anyways, to risk repeating what others have said, I'd say go to the vet. If you need money, take a loan out.
