Does anyone here have the Rock Band 2 drums?

I've heard some shitty things about them (messed up hits, unregistered bass hits, etc.) and I am really looking forward to getting the game with the drums this Saturday. If anyone here has them, could they please give their personal opinion and explain why, and whether or not it would be smarter just to buy the RB1 bundle and buy the RB2 game only?

I have the RB1 bundle with the RB2 gear. If you have a choice however, go with the RB2 gear and maybe wait on the drums (I hear the GH:WT drums can be used as real drums and are cheaper.) I also believe certain games can use real electronic drums so long as they have USB outputs, but I don't know how that works.

I've played RB1 drums on RB2 and there was absolutely no problem at all.
