Do you think a KH game is better off without Disney or with?

Some of you may, or may not know that I am making a Kingdom Hearts fangame (Look At Sig For Link) One of my friends say that I shouldn't have Disney in a Kingdom Hearts game. But I would like the game to be an enjoyment to all of the community, so now, you can decide. Which ever option gets the most votes. That's what I'll do. So, please go ahead and vote. :thumb:

EDIT: I do love the concept of Final Fantasy with Disney, I just thought some people might disagree.

Are you people crazy? Kingdom Hearts isn't Kingdom Hearts without Mickey Mouse, Donald, Goofy and the gang. I don't think people understand that this is the base of KH's entire FRANCHISE. It's what makes Kingdom Hearts charming.

I don't see why everyone seems to think that playing a game that utilizes Disney characters makes you (or the game) appear more childish. I think the real children are the ones who only play games that have a big old "M" stamped on them, because for some reason they think that being gory and violent makes them good games.

Hoestly... Kingdom Hearts has Disney. It is that simple. Leaving Disney out in a fangame... would be stupid. If you don't like Disney, dont play Kingdom Hearts. End of discussion for me.

I actually like all the original stuff created for kingdom hearts as well as the final fantasy characters, if it kept its current style but removed the disney it would be good.
Of course I mean if it had done that from the start, it couldn't do that now.

Hm... I voted on "maybe". This is because I don't mind playing such a game, but my friends do. They'll make fun of me for an eternity if they came to know that I've been playing such a game. Also, I'm 80% of my time with them, so it can be quite a pain to make my game, play other games, be active on communities, chat on MSN etc., in 20% of my spare time. I'd prefer a game which I don't have to play in secrecy.

Well, that's my opinion. Kiralim should do whatever he thinks is good.  :smile:

When you choose "Yeah, of course", it's pretty apparent that you're saying that it's good with Disney. Notice the ending of the question. "Do you think a KH game is better off without Disney or with?" The question relates to the ending part of the question, there are many instances.

No it's not the same question, and no the original question does not make sense. Please read and think before answering.

If someone asked me if I wanted something WITH or WITHOUT something, my response would be to either say WITH or WITHOUT:

"You want your ice cream without or with a flake?"
"With a flake please."

I wouldn't just shout "YES". Not everyone thinks in the same mindset, so not everyone will link "Yes" with "With" or "No" with "Without".

An alternate way of doing this would be to ask about only ONE of the outcomes (i.e "Would KH be better WITHOUT Disney?"). Then you could give a definate yes or no question.

Basically, let us know exactly what we're answering. Are we saying yes to keeping Disney or ridding of Disney?

For me, when I think Kingdom Hearts I think Disney. That's how it is. One exists because it has the other in it. It could work without, but you'd have to work very hard to pull it off.

In all seriousness, the whole point of Kingdom HEarts is to mix Final Fantasy elements with Disney elements. You can't have one without the other. So no, KH would not be better off without Disney.

the only reason i played kingdom hearts 1 was because of the alice in wonderland area.. had that not been there, i would have lost interest really fast.
