Can't really explain this one well, but I'll try...
Okay, my RMXP friends (who have helped me amazingly more than once)!
I'm thinking of a feature I'd like to add to my game, and it doesn't have to be very elaborate. I just want to find a way to display the name of the area the player is in on the screen for just a few seconds, and then have it go away.
Think like, old school Pokemon: Red Version. Kinda like when you get to new towns or routes, it'd come up in the upper-left corner in a small box and say (Route 12) or something like that.
It doesn't matter if it comes up every time you enter the area, as I don't plan on making the area notification huge.
I think I saw a video of a similar thing done on YouTube; I'll check if I can find it. In the meantime, if you have any suggestions, please let me know.
Sorry for the sucky explanation lol. ^^;
