Is it at all possible to make a script that allows you to loop back to any given point in an MP3 file? Is there one? This would be greatly appreciated among us composers.

MP3 files cannot be looped, and making a script to do it would be unnessecarily complex. Just download the program called Audacity, convert your mp3 files into ogg vorbis files, and then do a quick google search to the effect of "ogg loop". I recommend this because it is much simpler to loop ogg files, since they have the ability built in.
