Digital Camera Suggestion.

I am planning to buy a new digital camera for my line of work (or soon to be work) and for entertainment. Problem is I have had a hard time finding a good brand of digital camera. I've have a Kodac, and a Fujifilm in the past which have both proved reliable but I want to try something new. Any of you guys have any suggestions on a good digital camera that you yourself own that I should think about buying? Thanks for your help.

I use a Panasonic, which works pretty good for quick, easy to take pictures. Dunno if it would work for professional photography.

Canon.  I have a Canon Powershot and it is awesome.  I too had issues with Kodak and Fuji and have gone with Canon and cannot be happier.

i use a sony cyber-shot. i find it to be good. best digtal  camera ive used so far (well ive only used like 3 others...)

both suport SD/ XD

I use a Samsung NV20, it's 12.1 Mega Pixels and if you know how to treat it right she'll take some nice pictures for you, otherwise they mostly blur

Thanks for the suggestions. They've proved useful. Blurring isn't really a problem since I can correct that later but that takes up time especially if I want to take multiple pics. 12 megapix has great quality. I'm liking the Fuji Film F40FD though. I think that will be my purchase.

Canon, Love canon. I have 2 Canon 20D's and a Canon 5D. i highly recommend them.

Panasonic Lumix TZ3 is actually quite nice. Not exactly the cheapest of cameras, but it is sufficient for amateur photography and basic professional photography.
