Digimon Characters WIP

I'm working on some characters during my Computer Graphics class in school, since we have had a substitute for four months. I'm doing Digimon characters, for my game.

Datirimon, not quite finished.

At the moment, there is little to no shading, since I'm trying the get the basic shapes out of the way first. Shading, what little I'm capable of, will come later.

Here's another WIP, Angemon. Have a block at the moment, but I should be able to get through it. I will probably lighten the helmet and alter the shading. Template by Ccoa, hair by Tana.

Also, I will be doing other characters as well, such as a mostly completed (no shading) Vandemon.

If anyone would like to join in and make some characters themselves, simply state which one's you will be doing so I don't start them as well. Digimon and humans welcome.

Is that Ken(spl)? The guy with the Wormon? All of them are kindof nice of course most of them are recolors and frankens.

Nice job on the angemon one! I loved me some Angemon back in the day. TK and patamon made a great team. Be sure to keep all your sprites in the same style though.

The only thing I took from other sprites was the hair really, and the pants in the case of Angemon, but everything else on my Kaizer is hand drawn, unless your talking about Vandemon, which I drew over and edited the bard's hair. I wish it was that easy that I could frankensprite my characters. I will be starting Hikari soon as well. Her and Ken are essential to my game.

give some more details to the head part to have it not only a plain black...

Yeah, I know I need to lighten the helmet, thought it'll probably look worse cause I'm terrible with shading. Anyway, an update for Kaizer. Finished the glasses for the most part and tweaked the cloak. Started shoes, and a little bit of sideways shirt.

Okay, a very slight update and one that showcases the two different shirts. The original is to the right. I think I like that one better but I'm still not sure. Also, the walking part is giving me trouble. It looks weird. I'll have to study some other sprites before I work on that more. I'll be saving the PSD file to my email tomorrow so I can work at home, as spring break is pretty much here, so it should be finished over the next week. (depending on how many of hours of my day is devoted to Six Flags.

I'll probably do Wormmon eventually, but he's not too important in my game right now. I started I think Datirimon. He's almost done.
